The TESOL Graduate Certificate of Recognition (GCoR) Program equips you for teaching English internationally. Through foundational courses, you'll explore English instruction as a practice shaped by social, cultural, historical, and political factors across global educational settings. The program incorporates specialized resources (including instructional videos and media clips) that highlight the cultural and academic contexts of destination countries, providing insights into English language acquisition and usage.
Designed for college graduates from accredited institutions seeking overseas English teaching opportunities, the TESOL GCoR offers a pathway to advanced study. Participants who complete the certificate may transfer earned credits toward a TESOL master's degree, provided they enroll in the graduate program within two years of certificate completion.

Qualification Requirements
All international students must have their official transcripts from non-US universities reviewed by an external educational credential evaluation organization, such as World Education Services or another member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services foreign educational credential evaluation services. Candidates must submit course-by-course evaluations of their degree(s).
International students must send official transcripts directly to the educational credential evaluation organization for review. This evaluation process can take three to six weeks, and costs associated with the evaluation are the student's responsibility. IUP cannot forward official transcripts to educational credential evaluation organizations.
