The Sociology and Psychology Departments have introduced two fresh interdisciplinary programs in Child and Adult Advocacy Studies: a minor option for undergraduates and a certificate for working professionals.
The Child and Adult Advocacy Studies Certificate targets current professionals looking to enhance their expertise with specialized training.
This 12-credit course equips mandated reporters and frontline responders across various fields with culturally sensitive, research-backed skills to better address interpersonal violence cases involving victims and offenders of all ages.
