The Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, earned through the Nutrition Track, equips you for careers in public health, food service management, culinary arts, media, business, and aging-related fields. This program also provides excellent preparation for advanced graduate studies.

As a nutrition student at IUP, you'll build fundamental knowledge to support your professional growth. Your coursework will include subjects like Food and Nutrition Careers, Experimental Foods, Human Dietary Patterns, and Disease Nutrition I. The required Natural Science courses offer flexibility to align with your academic goals.

This track offers comprehensive nutrition education paired with a complementary minor or focus area. Available minors include biology, business, chemistry, media studies, instructional technology, journalism, and psychology.

Additionally, you can earn certificates in Culinary Arts or Gerontology, or specialize in Hospitality Management or Sports and Physical Education.
