The Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Special Education equips students to become skilled, knowledgeable, and capable educators for children from preschool to fourth grade, as well as special education students from pre-K through eighth grade.
Through a blend of early childhood and special education coursework paired with hands-on classroom experience, this program develops professional educators adept at employing effective methods to foster children's intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth.
Practical training occurs across diverse educational environments, including birth-to-three programs, preschools, kindergarten classrooms, and elementary grades 2-4, serving students with varying learning needs.
Graduates meet all academic requirements for Pennsylvania teaching certification in both pre-K to grade 4 and special education pre-K to grade 8.
