For nurses holding an MBA or MHA degree, this accelerated pathway enables faster advancement into sought-after executive nurse leadership positions. BSN-educated nurses with an existing MBA or MHA can enter the Executive Nurse Leadership DNP program after completing 12 transition credits (four courses) at the MSN level. These foundational courses ensure a smooth progression into doctoral studies. The Executive Nurse Leadership DNP equips nurses with the skills to direct teams, practice at the most advanced levels, oversee clinical departments or service lines, influence health policy, and assume leadership positions across diverse healthcare and academic settings. Students may choose between a seven-semester full-time option or a 10-semester part-time schedule. New cohorts for the MBA/MHA to DNP Transition track begin every spring term.
