The animal informatics specialization, encompassing the expanding discipline of human-animal digital interaction, enables students and professionals across diverse sectors - including commercial pet services, captive animal care (zoos, aquariums, farming), animal welfare groups, therapy animal initiatives, veterinary science, wildlife preservation, and cognitive/biological research - to pioneer innovations in this emerging field.
