Our distinguished faculty of internationally renowned artists will push you to grow musically, professionally, and educationally. Drawing from rich backgrounds in orchestral playing, chamber music, solo recordings, and teaching, you'll encounter diverse expertise and artistic mastery daily. As a woodwind student at Jacobs School of Music, you'll participate in our annual lineup of over 1,100 performances. Performance opportunities range from solo recitals to chamber groups and large ensembles, including six orchestras, two symphonic bands, early music ensembles, contemporary groups, and an extensive chamber music program. Jazz and historical performance options further broaden your musical horizons.
