Bachelor's Degree
The Jacobs School of Music provides three undergraduate bachelor's degree options: Bachelor of Music programs in performance, composition, historical performance, and jazz studies; Bachelor of Science degrees covering audio engineering, sound production, ballet, and music combined with another discipline; and Bachelor of Music Education programs specializing in choral, general music, instrumental band, or instrumental strings instruction. All music undergraduate degrees require at least 120 credit hours, not counting I400 and major ensemble courses. Certain programs may need additional credits due to specialized requirements.
