The Bachelor of Science in Merchandising provides students with comprehensive exposure to all phases of the retail process, helping them cultivate both creative and analytical abilities to form a forward-thinking retail outlook. This program explores consumer-focused and design elements within retail settings while delivering an in-depth study of merchandising's role in the future of retail. The curriculum covers fundamental product knowledge alongside emerging industry developments, complemented by a minor from the Kelley School of Business or another approved minor through the SoAAD Director of Undergraduate Studies. Graduates are equipped for diverse professional paths including retail purchasing, store leadership, product creation, customer relations, display design, fashion marketing, retail account management, wholesale distribution, brand strategy, merchandising supervision, supply chain coordination, production oversight, and product evaluation.
Applicant must have completed a diploma from an accredited high school (or must have completed the Indiana High School Equivalency Diploma)
Applicant must have TOEFL score of 79 on internet-based test, 550 on paper-based test, IELTS score of 6.5 and PTE score of 53.
