Human activities are now the primary force behind recent shifts in Earth's atmosphere and landscapes, triggering extraordinary environmental transformations. The Climate and Environmental Change program focuses on analyzing these dynamics and their effects on ecosystems and human communities. Through tools like instrument readings, satellite data, field studies, and computer simulations, we examine historical patterns and forecast future scenarios. Our faculty specialize in interdisciplinary research, offering studies in climate change analysis, environmental consequences, water scarcity, hydrological systems, and dendrochronology. Combining these subjects with technical training in GIS, remote sensing, and spatial analysis equips students for professional opportunities in both public and private sectors.
