Our distinguished faculty of internationally renowned performers will push you to grow musically, professionally, and educationally. Drawing from extensive experience in orchestral work, chamber music, solo recordings, and teaching, they provide daily exposure to exceptional musical knowledge. As a woodwind student at Jacobs School of Music, you'll participate in over 1,100 annual performances. Performance opportunities range from solo recitals to chamber groups and large ensembles, including six orchestras, two symphonic bands, early music ensembles, contemporary music groups, and a comprehensive chamber music program. Jazz and historical performance options are also available.
