Our percussion program offers a global musical journey. Students master diverse performance areas including orchestral percussion, timpani, solo marimba, chamber ensembles, drum set techniques, jazz vibraphone, and international percussion styles. With music education as our foundation, we equip students with teaching skills alongside performance excellence. The department provides an exceptional collection of meticulously maintained percussion instruments for individual practice and all school performances. Student must earn a diploma from an accredited high school (or must have completed the Indiana High School Equivalency Diploma) to be eligible for admission consideration. Students who are homeschooled or attend an alternative school should submit credentials that demonstrate equivalent levels of achievement and ability. To complete your application for admission, we require an official high school transcript and a full senior year schedule.
