Pursuing a Music Performance degree opens doors to a vibrant musical career beyond just competitions and concert tours. Countless opportunities await to expand your achievements as an artist, and Madonna's Music Program provides the ideal environment for your development and engagement. Our faculty members actively perform with renowned orchestras, jazz ensembles, and opera companies, bringing their passion for music-making to focus entirely on shaping you into the best musician you can become. You'll collaborate with students from various disciplines, fostering the unique, diverse atmosphere only found at a small liberal arts institution. Many of southeast Michigan's most accomplished church musicians are alumni of Madonna University's Church Music program. This demanding curriculum encompasses music theory, aural skills, history, composition analysis, conducting methods, choral techniques, and personalized instruction on our Wilhelm organ. The program enjoys high esteem across multiple religious denominations, with all graduates securing positions at churches boasting exceptional music ministry programs.
