We provide both bachelor's and master's degree programs that comprehensively prepare students in all facets of jazz performance and teaching, covering areas like improvisation, music history, composition/arranging, ensemble performance (both small groups and big bands), rhythm section skills, individual instrument instruction, recording techniques, vocal jazz, and teaching methods. Student must earn a diploma from an accredited high school (or must have completed the Indiana High School Equivalency Diploma) to be eligible for admission consideration.
