ISU's sculpture program provides training across diverse mediums including metalwork, woodcraft, plaster, textiles, lighting, polyester resins, and multimedia. The 4,600-square-foot sculpture facility in the Dick Hay Memorial Art Annex features dedicated spaces for welding & metalwork, woodworking, and mixed-media projects.

A comprehensive overhead bridge crane system serves the entire sculpture area. Students also have access to various electric and pneumatic hand tools, along with professional-grade welding equipment like M.I.G., T.I.G., and stick welders, plus plasma cutters, shears, brakes, and other power tools that create an inspiring, industry-standard environment for dedicated learners.
