Cultivating an environment of bold innovation and meaningful interaction with both cutting-edge and traditional technologies. The Experimental Art & Technology program at the University of New Mexico is a cross-disciplinary initiative within the Art Department that encourages boundary-pushing exploration. Participants create works that challenge, interact with, and redefine technological art through courses spanning from advanced immersive installations to basic circuit construction with everyday electronics.

Facilities provide professional-grade software alongside open-source alternatives, blending hands-on creation with critical examination of how art intersects with technology, social issues, and cultural discourse.
