This 32-credit curriculum covers art history, theory and criticism, museum studies, graphic design, and specialized studio courses in your chosen focus area. The program features a dedicated research component where you'll investigate creative artistic processes, utilizing research methodologies and conducting in-depth independent study on a selected subject, culminating in a final artistic project.
Students can specialize in one of eight concentration areas:

The program concludes with a capstone experience offering three pathways: curating and installing a final exhibition accompanied by an artist statement, completing a research thesis guided by faculty advisors, or delivering a themed art presentation.
