Our math education program is customized to align with your personal career objectives as a mathematics educator. The curriculum equips you to instruct middle and high school students in algebra, geometry, calculus, and other mathematical disciplines. Math serves as a fundamental subject where students master algebraic concepts, calculus principles, geometric theories, statistical methods, and beyond. These courses develop problem-solving abilities, enhance logical and numerical comprehension, and improve performance across other academic areas like science, history, music, and fine arts.
Enrolled in our Mathematics Teaching program, you'll gain hands-on experience through teaching placements at nearby middle and high schools, along with participating in tutoring opportunities at Indiana State's Mathematics Laboratory.
