Students pursuing a Master of Music in Performance receive focused training under the guidance of professional artist-instructors. This program covers performance degrees for all orchestral and band instruments, along with piano, guitar, and vocal studies. The MM in Performance equips graduates for professional opportunities in symphony orchestras, military bands, Broadway productions, opera companies, and collegiate teaching positions. Graduate performers regularly showcase their talents through solo recitals, chamber music concerts, concerto-aria contests, and national competitions like those hosted by the Music Teachers National Association and National Association of Teachers of Singing.
