The Master of Arts (MA) program offers comprehensive graduate-level study in music, catering to students seeking a well-rounded approach to the discipline. This 30-credit curriculum combines musical performance, historical and musicological studies, theoretical foundations, and educational components, along with flexible elective options. Students can further enhance their qualifications by pursuing teaching certification through our esteemed Music Education department. While no audition or portfolio is needed for general admission, those wishing to focus on performance or conducting should arrange an audition to access specialized training opportunities.
You must have a bachelor’s degree from an institution recognized by a regional accrediting association.
You must have earned a minimum of a 2.75 GPA from the undergraduate degree-granting institution.
Required Scores to demonstrate English Proficiency: TOEFL iBT 79; IELTS 6.5 Band; Pearson's PTE 53
