The Medical Studies Preparatory Program is designed for college graduates who wish to pursue medical education but need to complete prerequisite science courses for medical school admission. This intensive program delivers comprehensive training in all essential premedical sciences needed for entry into medical, osteopathic, or veterinary schools nationwide.
Students with adequate math and English preparation starting in fall can typically finish within two years. The subsequent third year, called the glide year, serves as the transition period between program completion and medical school enrollment. During this time, most students choose to take extra coursework or gain hands-on medical experience through full-time clinical work or research laboratory positions.
