The Master of Public Health (MPH) program at ISU holds accreditation from the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). This 42-credit program is designed to fulfill the foundational competencies mandated for all CEPH-accredited programs. Beyond covering essential public health disciplines like biostatistics, epidemiology, social and behavioral sciences, healthcare administration, and environmental health, the curriculum also explores interdisciplinary and contemporary public health topics. With a focus on community health, our courses provide comprehensive training in key areas including epidemiological methods, statistical analysis, public health ethics, healthcare systems and policies, program development and assessment, community health initiatives, research techniques, and environmental health sciences.
