The Department of Anthropology is dedicated to studying and educating on worldwide human diversity and uniqueness throughout history. Using both practical methods and theoretical frameworks, anthropology examines various dimensions of human existence. These encompass cultural practices, modern societies, human biological evolution, and linguistic systems. The discipline offers comparative, ecological, and worldwide viewpoints on historical and current human activities. We aim to utilize anthropological principles to address critical contemporary issues in social, cultural, and environmental spheres. Graduate students can pursue Master of Arts (M.A.) or Master of Science (M.S.) degrees with specializations including applied anthropology, archaeological science, environmental anthropology, forensic studies, linguistic conservation, medical anthropology, and oral tradition research.
