This program enables high-achieving undergraduates to start their M.S. studies following their junior year, making it possible to earn both bachelor's and master's degrees with just one extra year. Eligible candidates must show research initiative before junior year ends, satisfy Biological Sciences GPA and GRE standards for M.S. admission, and secure a Graduate Faculty member as their advisor. Upon acceptance into the M.S. program, participants must dedicate at least two summers to research or coursework. Due to its accelerated nature and rigorous demands, this pathway is reserved for exceptional students.
Participants must fulfill all B.S. degree requirements in Biological Sciences, typically completed by their fourth year. Meeting these undergraduate requirements simultaneously satisfies the coursework prerequisites for the M.S. program.
