This program addresses society's demand for solving intricate problems by applying scientific principles and engineering design. It employs an interdisciplinary method to equip students with the foundation needed to confront upcoming obstacles. Modern engineering involves numerous emerging technologies, yet the essential educational components continue to be a solid base in mathematics, sciences, engineering sciences, and design. The Engineering Science degree enables students to focus on one of three concentrations: Physics, Chemistry, or Environmental. Each concentration weaves design into the entire curriculum, starting from the first year and concluding with a capstone design project in the final year. As a result, program graduates are thoroughly prepared for analytical tasks and collaborative roles in engineering design teams. The concentrations ensure specialized knowledge within the Engineering Science program by incorporating targeted technical electives, as detailed under each of the three categories below.
