A radiographer carries out a range of radiographic procedures and methods to produce images that licensed physicians interpret. The associate degree in radiography educates you in using x-ray energy to aid in diagnosing and treating patients. Upon completing the Radiography Program, graduates can take the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) exam and qualify for a General Radiographer license in the State of Florida.
To be eligible for admission to an associate degree program at HCC, applicants must have the equivalent of one of the following: high school equivalency certificate (GED), Associate or higher degree, standard high school diploma.
