The Engineering Technology Associate of Science degree offers specialized instruction using cutting-edge equipment to build the competencies needed for advanced manufacturing roles. This program prepares you to obtain the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) Certified Production Technician (CPT) credential and enter a well-compensated, skilled position. The curriculum encompasses foundational computer-aided drafting, electronics, instrumentation and testing, materials and processes, as well as quality and safety protocols. These competencies correspond with the national MSSC Portable Production Technician certification. Qualification Requirements
To be eligible for admission to an associate degree program at HCC, applicants must have the equivalent of one of the following: high school equivalency certificate (GED), Associate or higher degree, standard high school diploma.
