The Associate of Science in Culinary and Dietetic Management at Hillsborough Community College equips students with the knowledge, skills, and practical training needed to excel as dietary managers. This comprehensive program combines theoretical classroom instruction with hands-on fieldwork. Students complete two 75-hour practicums (totaling 150 field hours), each supervised by an experienced preceptor. Participants qualify for ANFP Pre-Professional status during their studies. Upon graduation, students meet the requirements to take the Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) examination and apply for ANFP Professional membership.

Qualification Requirements

To be eligible for admission to an associate degree program at HCC, applicants must submit documentation that they have the equivalent of one of the following: high school equivalency certificate (GED) Associate or higher degree standard high school diploma High School If you graduated from a high school in the United States, please request that final, official transcripts be sent to HCC in a sealed envelope or electronically directly from your high school by the given application deadline. Transcripts must include your final grades and graduation date. Opened transcripts are considered to be unofficial and will not be accepted. IELTS academic overall band score of 5.5 or higher TOEFL score of 61 (iBT) or higher.
