The Department of Computer Science & Engineering offers an ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree, certified by the Computing Accreditation Commission. This endorsement confirms our program meets ABET's exacting criteria, guaranteeing a high-quality education that prepares graduates for professional careers or advanced academic pursuits. The curriculum features essential core classes alongside dynamic, cutting-edge electives. During the senior capstone project, students leverage their accumulated expertise to tackle meaningful software challenges. This program equips students with the skills needed for sought-after roles in the expanding computer science sector or for continued graduate education.
The BSCS with a Cybersecurity specialization provides targeted study. Foundational courses within the major—such as assembly programming, computer architecture, operating systems, data communications, and databases—establish the groundwork. Students then select four advanced electives aligned with cybersecurity.
