Gain expertise in applying critical thinking to practical situations within life sciences while investigating advanced research and theoretical concepts. Through the biology master's program, you will: Deepen your knowledge of biological disciplines such as molecular biology, genetics, genomics, cellular biology, physiology, neurobiology and behavior, evolutionary studies, and ecological systems.
Establish core competencies in scientific methodology, encompassing experimental and case study planning/execution, data collection/analysis, and ethical research standards.
Cultivate professional communication abilities focused on effectively presenting scientific findings through written reports, oral presentations, and visual representations.
Prior to enrolling in any degree-applicable courses, you must possess a 4-year regionally accredited US bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent. Foreign bachelor’s degrees must be evaluated for equivalency.
We require a current official transcript (i.e., a transcript issued directly from the school to our office) from each college or university from which you have earned a degree.
3.0 GPA- Earn the required cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 (equivalent to a grade of B) or higher from all Harvard courses.
