This joint program between the Harvard Graduate School of Education and the Harvard Kenneth C. Griffin Graduate School of Arts and Sciences grants complete access to Harvard's exceptional resources, equipping graduates for influential careers as university professors, researchers, top education administrators, and policy experts.
As a doctoral student, you'll work alongside academics from all Harvard graduate schools on groundbreaking interdisciplinary projects. Through this collaboration, you'll contribute to developing innovative areas of study that will shape future teaching and learning approaches. The curriculum's mandatory courses will deepen your understanding of education while building your proficiency in diverse quantitative and qualitative research methodologies essential for rigorous academic investigation.
Individuals who have or will have by the time of matriculation a BA, BS, or equivalent undergraduate degree (for prospective international students, a three- or four-year undergraduate degree from an institution of recognized standing) and actively seeks applicants from groups historically underrepresented in graduate schools.
English Language Scores: iBT TOEFL score of 104 or IELTS score of 7.5. Application Deadline: Dec 1.
