The Associate in Business Direct Transfer Agreement/Major Related Program (AB-DTA/MRP) is typically chosen by students aiming to transfer to a four-year institution as business or accounting majors after finishing their initial two years at Green River. This program aligns with Washington State university distribution requirements by covering the general education coursework for first and second-year students. The degree also demonstrates completion of a two-year business curriculum, which can be beneficial for professional or personal aspirations. To obtain this degree, students need to complete at least 90 quarter credits in 100-level or higher courses (from the approved distribution list) and fulfill specific distribution criteria. A maximum of 25% of required credits can be taken on a pass/no credit basis. Note that Pass-graded courses might not count toward major requirements. Students must achieve an overall 2.0 GPA and complete at least 24 credits at Green River College. Business programs often have competitive admission standards that may demand higher overall GPAs, better grades in specific courses, or minimum marks in particular classes.
