This mechatronics degree program is tailored for students aiming to pursue Mechatronics and continue into a bachelor's program specializing in Mechatronics or Automation. Graduates will gain expertise in both theoretical concepts and practical applications across various mechatronic principles. The curriculum explores fundamental energy forms that power and regulate machinery, including mechanical energy (solids), hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and electrical systems. Students will develop proficiency with machine components that manage, direct, and utilize these different energy forms. The program also encompasses studies in industrial wiring, rigging techniques, motor control logic, electro-fluid power systems, PLCs (programmable logic controllers), automation technologies, robotics (with optional industry certification available for MTX 150), and an optional forklift operation certification.
