This educational program equips individuals for successful careers in construction. Learners can also utilize these abilities across various roles in residential construction. Participants have the option to obtain multiple certificates in residential carpentry or pursue an Associate of Applied Science in Residential and Light Commercial Carpentry. Upon completing certificates or the degree, graduates can easily secure positions as carpenter assistants with general or specialized contractors. Typically, after gaining experience, most graduates advance to roles including: lead carpenters, general contractors, specialized contractors, supervisors, vendor representatives, designers, retail sales specialists, building inspectors, or other construction-related positions such as construction management. Non-native English speakers must complete ELL Level 3 before enrolling in the Carpentry Technology Program.
