Our Physical Therapy Department has developed a comprehensive Doctor of Physical Therapy program that combines current clinical practice with the growing responsibilities of the profession in patient assessment and treatment.
The DPT curriculum equips students with essential foundational knowledge for professional entry. You'll explore topics ranging from biomechanics and neurobiology to medical imaging and musculoskeletal care. Graduates emerge with deep expertise in human anatomy, injury mechanisms, and rehabilitative techniques that restore mobility and enhance quality of life.
Selection for the DPT program is highly competitive, with limited available spots. Applicants are assessed based on multiple criteria that predict successful program completion and licensure exam performance.
GovState provides an on-campus, entry-level doctoral program in physical therapy for aspiring professionals.
This three-year Physical Therapy program commences each summer semester following admission, with each cohort progressing through the curriculum together.
