Gonzaga's Comprehensive Leadership Program (CLP) cultivates tomorrow's leaders by equipping them with the abilities and resilience to create a more equitable, robust, and improved society. This cross-disciplinary undergraduate initiative, which results in a minor in leadership studies, merges classroom learning with introspective exploration and extracurricular engagements to ready Gonzaga students for purposeful leadership roles across academic, professional, and community settings. The journey starts during spring term of freshman year with foundational courses covering leadership principles, personal leadership development, and cross-cultural leadership perspectives. Alongside completing 21 academic credits, students engage in retreats, seminars, guest lectures, and optional courses. The program features a practical internship opportunity in junior year and culminates with a senior Legacy Project, enabling students to apply their learning while refining their unique leadership approach.
