Global Studies explores worldwide challenges through an interdisciplinary lens, covering topics like climate change, terrorism, international crime, economic relationships, human rights, and social justice. The Certificate of Achievement (COA) in Global Studies helps students develop global awareness and problem-solving skills. Learners can obtain this COA by selecting internationally focused general education courses while pursuing another degree. Participants will cultivate an appreciation for cultural diversity and different viewpoints. Graduates will deepen their understanding of globalization's impacts and the interdependence of social, political, economic, and environmental systems worldwide. These insights prepare them to thrive in the global marketplace, navigate multicultural communities, and make informed decisions as world citizens—qualities valued by employers across industries.
