Students earning an AS degree in Electrical Engineering gain skills in mathematics, fundamental sciences, and engineering disciplines like circuit design, along with complementary general education courses. The program requires completion of all mandatory coursework totaling 37 units. Program Outcomes: Graduates will be able to recognize, analyze, and resolve engineering challenges using engineering principles, scientific knowledge, and mathematical concepts. They'll employ engineering design methodologies to develop solutions addressing specific requirements while considering public safety, health, global impacts, cultural aspects, environmental concerns, and economic factors. Students will learn to convey technical details clearly to diverse audiences, collaborate effectively in teams by demonstrating leadership, fostering inclusivity, setting objectives, organizing tasks, and achieving technical goals. Additionally, they'll be prepared to transition to a bachelor's program to further specialize in an electrical engineering field.
