These degree and certificate programs are tailored to foster the professional growth of students pursuing careers in Preschool Education. All certificates correspond with the California Child Development Permit, administered by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. This permit allows educators to advance through a career pathway that aligns with professional objectives and skill levels related to employment and leadership roles. The curriculum caters to students aspiring to teach in preschool environments, requiring 24 units of Child Development coursework along with 16 units of General Education. Aligned with the California Child Development Permit, this program ensures compliance with state credentialing standards. Program Learning Outcomes: Graduates will gain insights into early childhood development, recognizing the diverse factors influencing children's growth. They will learn to create nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating educational settings, build meaningful connections with families and communities, and involve them in children's learning processes.
