The interdisciplinary BA in Political Science and Economics examines key challenges in both public and private spheres, equipping students with fundamental theoretical frameworks to analyze these matters. The curriculum mandates core economics classes, two mathematics courses, and a statistics requirement. Political Science provides elective options including Institutional Analysis and Governance, Developing World Politics, European Union Politics, and International Political Economy. Economics features advanced coursework in areas like International Trade, Monetary Economics, and Economic Development. This combined major exposes students to analytical approaches from both fields for examining decision-making processes in government and business, as well as governmental functions in modern society.
