This AA degree program teaches students traditional and digital photography methods, including lighting and workflow processes. Along with developing a broad historical and cultural perspective on photography, learners are urged to draw from their personal sociocultural heritage to enhance their photographic work. The curriculum readies students for transfer to a bachelor's program in Photography, requiring completion of 22 units. Program Learning Outcomes: Graduates will demonstrate the ability to produce conceptually and technically refined photographic projects, effectively utilize both natural and studio lighting, master traditional photographic methods and workflows, proficiently apply digital photography techniques and processes, and achieve readiness for advanced studies in Photography.
