The Master of Science in Sport Administration program aims to equip graduates with the expertise and competencies needed to thrive in the multibillion-dollar sports business sector. The sports industry encompasses diverse career opportunities across youth, amateur, community, professional, and international sports organizations, as well as related fields like event coordination, media production, venue operations, retail, club administration, sports startups, athletic tourism, and player management. Graduates may pursue roles in administration, branding, legal affairs, financial operations, broadcasting, advertising, communications, sports journalism, or team leadership. Qualification Requirements

When applying to the Sport Administration, M.S. program, you will need to submit several documents for review.

Describe your experiences with a sport (as a player, spectator, fan, employee, volunteer, etc.) and what problems or issues in the industry concern you because of your experiences. (around one (1) page in length)
Resume (upload with the application)
One Letter of Recommendation (identify your recommender on the application) the letter should be from a former college professor or instructor who can evaluate your academic promise. Coaches and other comparable individuals who have not seen you in an academic setting are not recommended.
Official Transcript(s): undergraduate degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA required for admission consideration.
In addition, if English is not the primary language, official TOEFL or IETLS scores must be submitted to Georgia State University. TOEFL scores should be submitted using school code 5251 and IETLS scores can be submitted by selecting Georgia State University Graduate Admissions. Applicants must submit a minimum TOEFL score of 79 or a minimum IETLS score of 6.5 for graduate admission. Applicants who completed a degree within the United States, will not be required to take the English proficiency exam.
