Employers consistently seek candidates who can provide documented evidence of their fluency in both spoken and written language. The undergraduate Certificate of Language Proficiency enables students to demonstrate their linguistic capabilities with concrete credentials, serving as an excellent enhancement to various fields of study including business, international affairs, healthcare administration, law enforcement, tourism, and other disciplines.
This certification requires completion of 12 credit hours at intermediate and advanced levels (with at least 6 credits at the upper division), maintaining a grade of B or better on initial attempts for each course. Retaken courses under the university's grade replacement policy do not qualify as first attempts.
