The Bachelor of Science in Game Development equips students with coding, programming, and software-focused game creation skills for professional careers. This program targets students seeking the foundational knowledge and technical expertise required for game development careers or STEM-related computational media fields, while fostering connections with local game design firms and the regional game development industry network.
While primarily designed for video game studios and startup ventures, this degree also provides career pathways in game production, animation, motion graphics, post-production, and broader software development fields such as social media analytics, web development, and app creation.
Through its partnership with the Georgia Film Academy, the Creative Media Industries Institute (CMII) offers joint certification programs in esports management for students pursuing careers in this growing field and related industries.
