Games delve into intricate concepts, systems, and human interactions within communities. As a student, you'll master the process of building games from scratch—researching, designing, and crafting evolving narratives and worlds that bring people together through play. The Game Arts program provides a thorough foundation in game design artistry. Throughout the program, you'll acquire essential skills for careers in AAA studios, indie game ventures, related industries, or as solo creators pushing the boundaries of the medium. The coursework balances game history and theory with hands-on collaborative projects, teaching students to navigate team dynamics, creative problem-solving, and project management—key aspects of professional game development.
In our studio courses, students immerse themselves in game creation, refining their skills through diverse methodologies. They become proficient in 3D modeling, decode the complexities of game programming, develop engaging stories, and design user-friendly interfaces and experiences. The program also covers specialized areas like level design, tabletop game creation, animation techniques, and XR (extended reality) development. This wide-ranging skill set equips graduates to tackle the ever-evolving demands of today's game industry.
