The Bachelor of Science in Education in Special Education at Georgia State University equips students to educate children and adolescents with disabilities who require special education support in school settings. Program participants collaborate with experienced faculty members who have substantial backgrounds in working with disabled youth, engaging in both challenging academic studies and hands-on classroom training. Upon successfully finishing the program and passing the relevant GACE exam(s), graduates earn certification to teach in one of three special education fields. Alumni from this program pursue teaching careers in various educational environments, including charter, public, private, and specialized institutions.
