English majors explore language, literature, and writing techniques, cultivating abilities that form the foundation of humanities education and are highly valued by global employers. Our program analyzes language, literary works, and cultural expressions to foster community engagement, broaden information accessibility, and tackle important societal challenges.
The English undergraduate curriculum encourages analytical thinking, extensive reading, and creative writing. Proof of completion of the equivalent of English 1101 and/or 1102 with a grade of C or better at an accredited U.S. institution
Minimum scores on one of the following approved English-proficiency tests:
