Nursing combines both artistry and scientific knowledge. It's the skillful practice of blending expertise with empathy to deliver comprehensive care to patients, families, and communities. On the scientific side, nursing demands extensive knowledge and analytical abilities to ensure safe, efficient, and culturally sensitive healthcare delivery.

Starting July 1, 2016, Perimeter College's Nursing Department transitioned to become part of Georgia State University's School of Nursing. The associate degree pathway is now officially named The Georgia State University School of Nursing Associate Degree Program at Perimeter College. While maintaining the same campus locations for classes, the admission criteria and tuition fees have stayed unchanged.

This Nursing program awards an Associate of Science degree in Nursing, with approval from the Georgia Board of Nursing and accreditation from ACEN. Program graduates qualify to sit for the NCLEX-RN exam. Designed as a career-focused curriculum, it also allows students to transfer credits to various higher education institutions for further studies.
