Licensed dental hygienists offer educational, therapeutic, and preventive care to patients of all ages across diverse clinical environments. This program equips students with the theoretical knowledge, hands-on experience, and critical thinking abilities needed to collaborate effectively within healthcare teams addressing community oral health challenges. While the dental hygiene curriculum follows a strict sequence starting each fall, students can complete prerequisite general education courses during any term. The professional training spans five back-to-back semesters, incorporating one summer term.
