The Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering collaborates with the School of Mathematics to deliver a Master of Science in Statistics program. This interdisciplinary initiative focuses on statistical science within technological contexts. While preparing students for potential PhD studies in applied statistics, mathematics (with a statistics focus), or bioinformatics, the program primarily equips graduates for professional statistical careers. Structured to be finished within one year, it develops skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation while ensuring a solid grasp of statistical fundamentals. Participants learn from research-active faculty who teach cutting-edge statistical methods.
Applicants must have an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree or the equivalent.
